HOD, NON-BANK TRANSACTION PROCESSING

Reports To: Group Head, Payment Solutions

JOB OBJECTIVE(S)

  • Achieve gross income target for the period
  • Achieve transaction Volume target for the period
  • Sign on new clients

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively identify business development opportunities to increase the adoption, profitability & growth of UP’s product(s) and/or services.
  • Presentation and demonstration of UP’s products and services to clients as part of the sales effort
  • Consistent achievement of the performance Objectives and KPIs as defined in line with UP’s strategy
  • Articulation and implementation of sales and marketing strategies aimed at achieving
    channel adoption goals
  • Preparation of technical and business-related documentation for pre- and post-sales
    client interactions.
  • Analysis of client requirements and formulation of suitable solution features and
    specifications.
  • Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies and trend analysis to keep abreast of industry
    development and identify opportunities and threats for UP.
  • General interactions with clients to ensure client satisfaction in line with UP’s business goals.
  • Pay occasional visits to clients and manage viable relationships.
  • Collation of tasks from internal and external call notes/meetings.
  • Manage efficient receivable circle with clients.
  • Work with project office on delivery of business enabling projects.
  • Provide support for all other departmental activities/tasks as may be required
  • Oversee Department’s resource, tasks & reports and ensure effective/efficient utilization.
  • Oversee Group collective reports and render to Group Head and/or requesting Department

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of first degree/HND in any management science/social science-related discipline preferably in Business administration and Marketing.
  • MSC in Business, Sales or Marketing fields will be an advantage
  • Relevant local & international certifications
  • 10 years post NYSC experience in business development related roles. Experience working in the Payment, Fintech or Banking industry will be an advantage
